What do you do in Portal 2? ›

Portal 2 challenges the player to use teleportation to traverse obstacle courses. The player's speed does not change upon passing through portals. In this example, the vertical velocity of the falling character is converted into horizontal velocity by the portal. Portal 2 is a first-person perspective puzzle game.

Portal 2 has very good visuals, in the focus environments it provides the player though never puts any more attention to it than they need to. More importantly, the decision to keep the game at it's short 6 hour length allows for the story to pace smoothly, the prospect of replaying it (hell, even finishing it) viable.
