Fans who are desperately attempting to reach the temple through Grymforge should stop trying now, as they will simply not be able to do so. Concerning how to get to the ancient temple upon reaching Act 2, there is a heavy overlap between that objective and this section's main quests.

No, as far as I know, since Temple of Shar is a story location from Act 2 entrance to which you gain access to from a different area. That view is likely to show things to come. Highly recommend bringing Shadowheart with you there.

You will get there as part of the main story in Act II. As far as I know, it is pretty much impossible to miss. For those that want specifics: You will find the cave entrance in the North West portion of the map, North of the House of Healing.
