Pat (Alice Patricia) Campbell
Obituary
Pat (Alice Patricia) Campbell crossed over on the morning of Wednesday, July 31st, in her ninety-seventh year. Cherished sister of Eleanor and Hans Markvoort; loved and loving aunt of Laird, Carol, and Hap Campbell and Garet (Margaret), Paul, and Trish Markvoort; dear aunt-in-law of Karen Campbell; devoted great-aunt of Sabrina (Tyler DiLallo) and Natasha Campbell; and doting great-great-aunt to Finn and Jude DiLallo. Our hearts are comforted knowing that Pat is reunited with her parents, Stan and Bertha Campbell, and aunt Margaret Muxworthy; her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Dereth Campbell, and their son, her nephew Stan; and her dearly beloved sister Margaret Campbell. Those of us left behind will treasure memories of Pat’s wit, humour, and generous spirit. Always up for an adventure, Pat spent her entire life in her hometown of London, Ontario, keeping a succession of General Motors “London Zone” managers in line and travelling to destinations both near and far with her sisters and bosom *friends. Pat’s family would like to thank the staff at Henley Place Long-Term Care, particularly those who work on the Gibbons Park unit, for the loving care they gave Pat during the final months of her life and for their part in bringing her together with her darling “baby” sister, Eleanor. A memorial service will be held at Colborne Street United Church, 711 Colborne Street at Piccadilly, on Tuesday, August 6 at 1 pm. Reception to follow at the church. A private family interment at Woodland Cemetery will take place at a later date. Memorial donations would be deeply appreciated and can be sent to MS Canada, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Red Cross, or the charity of your choice.
